You surely know Janne from the various TV shows he has hosted.
Idols Extra was a fantastic start for Janne's career on TV. Since then he has hosted TV-shows such as Big Brother Extra, Hei Me leivotaan, Kesäillan Valssi, Eilen, Tässä ja Nyt. The most recent addition to this list of great shows is the Power of Ten (a game show format known from the American TV.)
Before launching his career on TV, Janne hosted hundreds of events, anything from the traditional Raspberry Festivals to car races. Not forgetting the Miss Wet T-shirt -competitions or the legendary karaoke moments at the Viking Line ferries. Along with all this, Janne was also an actor at the Riihimäki Theatre and was the co-owner and a CEO of the entertainment production company Hihhihhii Oy.
Together with actor Aku Hirviniemi, Janne toured as a magician and a here-and-now comedian around Finland for years.
Despite of his young age Kataja has also worked as the Marketing Director of Riihimäki Theatre.
Janne also studied theatre (never really managing to graduate) at the Arts Academy at Turku University of Applied Sciences. Considering this all can be fitted into only a couple of years of work, we can admit that it cannot all have been that good quality or full effort work performances.
Nowadays, however, the things are quite different. Janne sets his work standards high. Janne is commited to work 100% and always give the best performance to his audiences.
